Computer Sense, our new venture, specialise in customised PC training and IT solutions.  All training is carried out on-site at the clients business premises, and the training courses are designed specifically to meet the requirements of the individual staff involved.  Training can be either one-to-one or group sessions as required.

The main purpose of the training is to give staff and owner/managers a practical insight into how the PC can do more work for them in their own business - enabling staff to minimise the amount of repetitive and manual work required in a busy commercial environment.  This is achieved by customising each training programme for the business and individuals that it is for - no examples of how to record bread sales that mean nothing to a vehicle repair technician in his own business!

COURSES

Training generally covers the key aspects of the Microsoft PC packages of Word, Publisher, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook e-mail as required, as well as covering the central areas of PC administration, file management, the internet, anti-virus software and the importance of backups.  Levels of training range from beginner to advanced - dependant upon the trainees abilities and requirements. 

ADDITIONAL SERVICES

In addition, templates and standard documentation can be set up to allow the administration of the particular business to run more efficiently i.e. VAT records, sales records, mail shots, standard letters, purchase ledgers, customer contact database etc.  Customisation is key in this area - utilising the business logo on all documentation to promote a professional image.
